There's no single right moment, but many people in Auckland find themselves at a point where their home feels too large to manage, where maintenance has become a burden, or where a life change has made a move feel necessary. If you're thinking about it, it's usually worth having a conversation. A free consultation is a good place to start and there's no pressure to commit to anything.

That's completely normal and completely okay. Going through a lifetime of belongings is deeply personal, and it's natural to feel a range of emotions along the way. I work slowly and gently, and there is no pressure to keep moving if you need a moment. Many of my Auckland clients have found that having someone calm and non-judgmental by their side made the process feel far more manageable than they expected.
-
It depends on the size of the home and how many years of belongings are involved. Some Auckland clients need just two or three sessions to feel ready. Others prefer to work through it gradually over several weeks at a slower pace. Sessions run between two and six hours, and we always go at the speed that feels right for you. We can discuss timing during your free consultation.
-
Yes, absolutely. This is one of the most common situations I work with across Auckland. Whether your parent is moving willingly or finding it difficult to let go, I provide a calm and sensitive presence throughout. I work with both the person moving and their family, helping everyone feel heard and supported while making practical progress through the home.

Sessions start from $250 for two hours through to $700 for a full six-hour day. For larger downsizing projects, package options across multiple sessions are also available. A free initial consultation is always the first step with no cost and no obligation.
